1. Application of CH-5 in offset printing ink

(1) Varnish: 15 parts of modified phenolic resin, 15 parts of alkyd resin (o-phenyl/isocyanate type), 10 parts of petroleum resin and 60 parts of fat solvent are mixed into varnish.

(2) Base ink: 26 parts of varnish, 8 parts of alkyd resin, 10 parts of petroleum distillate, 2 parts of antioxidant and 4 parts of CH-5 additive are fully stirred and dissolved, and then 50 parts of Lithol Magenta (Ca4B red) pigment is gradually added and ground to make a magenta base ink with a pigment content of 50%. For example, 33 parts of varnish, 5 parts of alkyd resin, 6 parts of petroleum distillate, 2 parts of antioxidant and 4 parts of CH-5 additive are fully stirred and dissolved, and then 50 parts of carbon black pigment is gradually added and ground to make a black base ink with a pigment content of 50%.

(3) Oil retention  20 parts of modified phenolic resin, 28 parts of active petroleum resin, 18 parts of soybean oil modified alkyd resin, 2 parts of gelling agent and 40 parts of petroleum distillate are prepared into oil retention (thermosetting type), in addition, 24 parts of modified maleic acid resin, 20 parts of linoleic acid modified alkyd resin, 2 parts of gelling agent and 30 parts of petroleum distillate are prepared into oil retention (single-sheet type).

(4) Ink  50% magenta base ink 35 parts, oil retention 51 parts, polyethylene wax compound 7 parts, fat solvent 7 parts, can be prepared into finished offset red ink, 50% carbon black base ink 35 parts, oil retention 51 parts, polyethylene wax compound 8 parts, fat solvent 8 parts, alkaline blue (color correcting agent) 5 parts can be prepared into finished offset black ink.

2. Application of CH-5 in benzene-soluble gravure ink and tinplate ink

Reduce the resin concentration of the grinding medium to 10%, add the measured CH-5, stir and dissolve it, and then gradually add the pigment for grinding. Due to the low resin concentration of the medium and the obvious viscosity reduction effect of CH-5, the pigment concentration of the grinding base can be greatly increased, and the base obtained has strong versatility. Especially when the resin selected in the grinding medium is a universal resin, its versatility is stronger.

3. Application of CH-5 in the preparation of Flush by phase transfer squeezing

Add 10 parts of CH-5 to 500 parts of filter cake (Lutetia Rubine BLS461, solid content 36%), mix for more than 5 minutes, add 160 parts of Flush medium (containing 30% mineral oil, 15% polyurethane alkyd resin, 33% petroleum resin, 22% modified phenolic resin), mix until clear, drain the water, add 500 parts of filter cake, 5 parts of CH-5, 140 parts of Flush medium, continue to mix until clear, drain the water, vacuum dehydrate to less than 3% water content, finally add 35 parts of Flush medium, 10 parts of CH-5, mix thoroughly, and obtain a red Flush with a pigment content of 50%.
